Strawberries and cream are a British summertime favourite, and while we sadly won't be indulging in the treat at Wimbledon this year following the tournament cancellation due to the coronavirus pandemic, it doesn't mean we have to miss out completely.

Supermarket Aldi has reimagined the iconic clotted cream and developed a delicious Strawberry & Prosecco Cream just in time for the summer months.

Ideal for topping BBQ desserts or pairing with scones at garden parties, the brand's jar combines prosecco, 100% fresh cream and strawberries.

The Strawberry & Prosecco Cream is available to buy in Aldi stores around the UK right now, and costs £1.49 for 150g.

Aldi isn't the only supermarket getting in on strawberry-flavoured cream this season. Marks & Spencer recently launched a Strawberry Clotted Cream that's not only for scones, but also works delightfully alongside a Victoria sponge or in cream buns.

Marks & Spencer's Strawberry Clotted Cream is available nationwide in M&S Food Halls and comes in a 200g tub for £2.50.
